Plea Deals Result In Prison-Brevard NC

 


District Attorney Greg Newman has announced two men have pleaded guilty to two separate felony cases in Transylvania County.

Newman, who is the chief prosecutor for the county, said in a press release that Corey Miller, of 76 Kant Hardly Farm Drive, Brevard, pleaded guilty to assault by strangulation and assault on a female during the recent term of Transylvania County Superior Court.

Miller was sentenced to 29 months in prison by Transylvania County Superior Court Judge Mark E. Powell.
