Dove Season Opens

 


Shooting doves - now that was an uplifting read. I don’t know how it landed on Page 10 of The Transylvania Times.

It was so newsworthy. I can not begin to imagine the excitement of the kill. Doves, with their soft brown eyes and coos - not especially known for their intelligence - and they are smaller than the average human, so should be easy prey.

Why doesn’t this dove killing family up the ante and go for big game - like the Texas father and his 10-year-old daughter who get their kicks out of shooting giraffes and zebras and other majestic wild animals.

Isn’t there somethin...
