Schools Rank 13th In The State – Transylvania County NC

Based on grade level proficiency, Transylvania County Schools rank 13th out of the state’s 115 school districts for the 2015-16 school year. The county schools ranked 16th the previous year.

The rankings are based on student proficiency scores on all end-of-grade and end-of-course tests taken by students in grades three through 12. It does not, however, include any statistical data from K-2 classes, CTE (career and technical education) post-assessments and the ACT, a college entrance exam given to all high school juniors.
