Although I am not one that typically writes letters to the editor, I feel compelled to share my endorsement of Alice Wellborn for school board. I have known Alice for a number of years and have witnessed her passion for education first hand. Our community is fortunate to have such a well qualified individual willing to put her time and knowledge to work for the students, teachers and schools of Transylvania County.
