When you look at yourself, what do you see? Maybe you see your jean size, or maybe you see the color of your skin, but isn’t there more to you than that? Sometimes it’s hard to see a person as a whole without looking at the things that are right in front of you. So many people don’t realize that an African American person is more than just the color of their skin. Too often, African Americans are subjected to discrimination and are the victims of hate crimes all across the United States.
