Bears Rally Past Tornados In Second Half, Win 21-14 – Brevard NC

Brevard quarterback Bubba Craven tries to beat a Lenoir-Rhyne defender to the edge as he races toward the end zone. Craven finished Saturday's game with 63 yards rushing, 59 yards passing and one touchdown.

The Brevard College Tornados football team (1-9, 0-6 SAC) fell by a final of 21-14 to the Lenoir-Rhyne Bears (3-7, 3-3 SAC) Saturday afternoon as the football team celebrated senior day for their final home contest of the 2016 season.

The Tornados would gain momentum early in the first half as sophomore Ashud Moore (Ellenwood, Ga.) managed to get his helmet on the football, forcing a Lenoir-Rhyne turnover out of the hands of Nelson Brown that fell to the ground, where senior Amir Williams (Athens, Ga.) recovered the play.

Brevard would than drive 45-yards on 11 plays in 6:53 as sophomore...
