Plates Promote Pisgah Conservancy – Brevard NC

The Pisgah Conservancy is continuing its efforts to generate more awareness, appreciation and funding for Pisgah National Forest.

The Conservancy's board has designed special license plates, with the iconic Looking Glass Rock front and center.

The yet-to-open Pilot Cove campground, located behind the Hub and Pisgah Tavern, has put up the initial specialty plate fee, to the tune of $5,000. That gift will allow the Pisgah Conservancy to offer the license plates for free the first year. After that, supporters would pay an annual $30, with $20 of that going directly to the Pisgah Conservanc...
