Report Cards Show County Schools Above Average – Brevard NC

“We can do better, but we’re doing well.”

That is just one of the things Jeremy Gibbs, chief academic officer for Transylvania County Schools, has gleaned from the state report card for public schools for 2015-16.

All of the traditional Transylvania County Schools received either a B or C from the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction.

“I’m very pleased with our academic performance. We do good work in tough circumstances,” said Gibbs. “It’s a testament to their (students and teachers) hard work.”
