As a citizen of North Carolina and a member of the cycling community for both business and pleasure, I was asked to serve on a study group in Raleigh earlier this year to make recommendations for H.B. 232. The goal of this group was to find ways of making bicycling safer and to identify strategies for lowering a cyclist's impact on the drivers who are out there on the road.
