Trupiano Receives Several Honors – Brevard NC

Liana Trupiano of Brevard, a sophomore at Randolph-Macon Academy (R-MA), was one of 10 sophomores and juniors at R-MA selected to attend the 8th Annual Student Leadership Conference at The Highland School.

This conference is designed to introduce students to a range of perspectives on leadership, to showcase exemplars from a variety of backgrounds, and to engage students from different school communities in dialogue about their challenges, successes, roles and goals as student leaders.

Trupiano also was inducted into R-MA’s chapter of the National English Honor Society. To be selected for the National English Honor Society, a student must have completed at least one semester of Honors or AP English and earned at least a grade point average of 3.5, including an average of at least 3.7 in Honors and AP English courses.

Trupiano also was inducted into Randolph-Macon Academy’s chapter of the National Honor Society. A student must maintain a cumulative GPA above 3.7, perform community service, and display evidence of achievement in knowledge, leadership, character and service to be inducted into this honor society.

Liana is the daughter of William and Stephanie Trupiano of Brevard.
