Stop Abusing Special Sessions

Not much good comes out of special sessions held by the North Carolina General Assembly. In the spring of this year the General Assembly held a special session, met for a few hours and passed House Bill 2, which outgoing Gov. Pat McCrory signed on the same day. The hurried passage of this poorly vetted controversial bill caused the state to lose million of dollars in entertainment and sports events, as well as having several businesses decide to locate their businesses in other states.
