Locals Planning To Attend D.C. March

A group of local residents are heading to Washington, D.C., for the Jan. 21 Women’s March on Washington. The event is scheduled for the day after President-Elect Donald Trump’s inauguration.

Brevard resident Lauren Sevilla-Agrella said that anyone is welcome to join and the march is not about “protesting” Trump.

“We’re speaking up about things we will not tolerate when he’s in office,” she said. “This is not about protesting Trump. It’s about speaking up in a positive way. It’s about saying: ‘You might be the president, but we do not support treating other people...
