Blue Devils' Comeback Bid Falls Short Against Panthers

After trailing by double-digits in the opening half the Brevard Blue Devils made a late charge against the Franklin Panthers, but couldn't get out of their hole as they lost 45-41 last Thursday.

Franklin started fast out of the gate, using a solid interior game to build an early 8-2 lead.

The Panthers took a four-point lead into the second quarter before Brevard's offense got going off a jumper from Ari Williams and a layup from Jace Frisbee that cut the lead to 15-12.

But just when the Blue Devils got within reach, the Panthers answered with a 9-0 run to close out the half and take a 24...
