A Warmer World

Last Wednesday, Jan. 18, the temperature hit 70 degrees in Brevard. People were out in short sleeves riding bicycles and working outside.

That same day the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) and National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) reported that 2016 was the warmest year on record for Earth. It marked the third year in a row in which average surface temperatures reached a new high by a substantial degree.
