Shepherd is a broker at Looking Glass Realty LLC. In 2016 alone, he was honored to assist 40 clients either sell or buy real estate in Transylvania County.

When asked if he was going to break the tie, Shepherd said, "It will be hard to break the tie with these two heavy hitting agents, but what I lack in physical strength I make up for in agility and endur-ance,"

McCoy is the owner and broker at RE/MAX Land of the Waterfalls where he averages 45 closings per year. When asked if he would break the tie next year, McCoy responded, "Yes, I will break the tie next year due to my persistence and the benefits of being associated with the most recognized real estate brand in the world, RE/MAX!"

As the owner and broker-in-charge at Looking Glass Realty LLC, Wilander said he will try to tackle Billy McCoy in 2017 to make room for Shepherd to take the lead.

Transylvania County had a great year overall in 2016. Homes sales increased by 13 percent from 2015 according to MLS data. The average monthly inventory of housing decreased by 14 percent with the median average sales price increasing by 5 percent over that same period.
