Change, Not Repeal, ACA

More than eight of 10 primary care doctors want Congress to make changes to the Affordable Care Act (ACA) rather than outright repeal. Two-thirds of health care executives do not want the ACA repealed. These results are from surveys conducted in December and January by the New England Journal of Medicine and Healthleaders, respectively. One reason that doctors favor improving the ACA is the fact that more people are receiving preventive care and earlier treatment for chronic conditions such as diabetes.
