Guardrails Needed

February 16, 2017

While replacing guard rails on Highway 276 may be good, may I suggest that guardrails be placed on the Asheville Highway to separate the walking - bike paths from the highway.

They are especially needed in the area from Pisgah Heights to Hospital Drive.

This should be done without debate or delay before someone is seriously injured or killed. The pedestrians deserve to be protected from the swift moving traffic.

A short leftover piece of rail could also be placed in front of the pole in front of the Sunset Motel.
