Strike Out Childhood Cancer Monday, March 27

Sophie Hannah, who lives in West Columbia, S.C., is the niece of Taffy Galloway and is currently in remission from acute lymphoblastic leukemia. Sophie is the local honored kid for the fundraiser this year. She was diagnosed at the age of three and was 9 years old on March 21.

Want to have fun and make a difference? Rockin Bowl is hosting the first annual Strike Out Childhood Cancer Bowl and Pool tournament, with all game proceeds going to the St. Baldricks Foundation for Childhood Cancer Research.

The event will be held Monday, March 27, from 5-9 p.m. Cost is $20-$30 per person - food and beverage are extra.

This event was organized by Alex and Barbara Ritchey of Brevard in honor of their daughter, Rebecca, a childhood cancer survivor.
