Tornados Drop Both Sides Of Double-Header To Bears

The Brevard College Softball team (12-2, 0-6 SAC) fell to the Bears of Lenoir-Rhyne (30-7, 3-1 SAC) in Saturday's conference doubleheader.

The Bears' pitching threw two shutouts to help Lenoir-Rhyne to two run-rule victories.

Lenoir-Rhyne took game one, 11-0 in six innings and kept the momentum going in game two with an 8-0 victory in five innings.

Sophomore pitcher Ricki Kuhn (Newton, N.C.) suffered both losses. Senior Lauren Parker came onto throw the final inning of game one.
