Music Jam On May 9 To Benefit Local JAM - Brevard, NC

On Tuesday, May 9, from 6-10 p.m. at the Brevard Lumberyard, the third annual JAM Jam will raise most of the year's budget for the Junior Appalachian Musicians (JAM) Program at the Boys & Girls Club.

There are JAM programs across the Southern Appalachians, but the JAM in Brevard is the only affiliate that is entirely community supported. Students pay no tuition and have access to program instruments.

JAM teachers Owen Grooms, Jonlyn Linville and Bradford Carson are local working musicians who are active in the traditional music community.
