Then read or listen to 5 TCL books or participate in 10 TCL activities. Complete an entry card and drop it into the library treasure chest raffle box for a chance to receive weekly prizes that include gift certificates to Second Story Book Store and local eateries, as well as other surprises. Weekly drawings will begin on Wednesday, June 28. Complete as many entry cards as you wish over the summer and put them in the box by Saturday, Aug. 5. The Grand Prize includes dinner at a local restaurant and will be drawn on Wednesday, Aug. 9. Full details are available at registration.

Adult Summer Reading is a unique opportunity to delve into books for pleasure, to seek out new knowledge, to unearth a jewel-of-a-book tucked away in an unexplored part of the library, or to mine the depths of the library website. The library treasure map may lead the way to something new and rare whether reading a book/Ebook or a Flipster Magazine; watching a DVD, listening to a Book on CD or an Eaudiobook; or attending a library program such as a Bag Lunch, Art Café, [email protected] concert, or Summer Amphitheater Concert! These already rich experiences can then be further polished into the possibility of collecting prizes. Why let the kids have all the fun this summer?

This program is free and open to the public thanks to support by the Friends of the Library. All library programs are funded by Friends of the Library memberships and sales from their Second Story Book Store.
