Rosman Elementary Students Receive Dental Sealants

Krystal Cherry and Lori Nicholson of the N.C. Oral Health Section apply dental sealants for Brayden Newman during the Rosman Elementary sealant project.

Second and third graders at Rosman Elementary School - and their parents - have less reason to worry about cavities, thanks to sealants provided by the N.C. Oral Health Section and the Healthy Smiles Dental Project Transylvania Public Health.

Dental sealants protect the chewing surfaces of a child's back teeth from tooth decay and improve a child's chances of staying cavity-free.
