Sheriff's Office Makes Drug Arrests

The following arrests and incidents were reported by the Transylvania County Sheriff’s Office.

Arrests

Anthony Jermaine Daughtery, 38, was arrested on May 29 for one felony count of methamphetamine possession. He has been placed in the Transylvania County jail under a $9,000 fine.

Robert Tristan Kane, 29, was arrested on May 28 for one felony count of being a fugitive from justice. He has been placed in the county jail under a $10,000 fine.

Michael Adam Berry, 32, was arrested on May 23 for one felony count of marijuana manufacturing, one felony count of maintaining a dwelling for drugs and one felony count of possession of a gun with an altered serial number. He has been placed in the county jail under a $15,000 bond.

Amanda Michelle Jackson, 39, was arrested on May 23 for one felony count of larceny, one felony count of possession of stolen goods/property and one felony count of obtaining property under false pretenses. She has been placed in the county jail under a $10,700 bond.

Incidents

There was a report of a burglary on Rosman Highway on May 24. Reported stolen was a tan wicker basket with an assortment of medical supplies.

There was a report of financial card theft and possession of stolen property on North Country Club Road on May 24. A debit card, on which fraudulent charges have been made, was reported stolen.

There was a report of counterfeiting at Lake Toxaway Trading Post on Rosman Highway on May 24. A counterfeit $20 dollar bill was reported to have been used.

There was a report of a burglary on Upper Glade Creek Road on May 23. Reported stolen were U.S. currency, miscellaneous clothing and a Bluetooth speaker.

There was a report of a burglary on Israel Road on May 23. Reported stolen were fifty-five $100 dollar bills.
