Support Group Is Not Judgmental

Last updated 6/19/2017 at 6:44pm

I would like to share an experience that should be of help to folks who suffer from bipolar disorder.

Last Tuesday, June 13, I attended a support group called Connection. It meets every Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. in Behavioral Health Room in the transitional care wing of TRH. It is sponsored by NAMITA (National Alliance on Mental Illness-Transylvania Advocates).

I found the support group folks to be honest and full of caring advice.

No one was judgmental or critical. Bipolar disorder is difficult to live with. Join others who have “been there.”
