Michael Jimmy McCall "Bigun," 55, of Pisgah Forest, passed away June 28, 2017.

He was a native of Transylvania County and an employee of the city of Hendersonville.

He enjoyed working on the family farm raising Jacob sheep and was an avid NASCAR fan.

He loved God, his family and his country.

He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Allison Wilkie McCall, and two sons, Tyler J. McCall and partner, Eric Campbell, of Chicago, and Matthew C. McCall, of Pisgah Forest.

He is also survived by four brothers, Audie McCall and wife, Janet, and their daughter, Lacee, Joey McCall and wife, Angie, and their sons, Kyle (wife, Ashley) and Chris, and David McCall and wife, Christy, and their daughter, Rebecca Sizemore (husband, A.J.) and son, Silas, and Clark McCall and his daughter, Hailey; his brother and sister-in-law, Brantley and Pam Wilkie, and their sons, Raynor (wife, Heather and daughters, Arwen and Alana) and Shawn Galloway (wife, Jenna and sons, Kainen and Jase); and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was the son of James Emory McCall and Alma Hoxit McCall, of Pisgah Forest. He was preceded in death by one brother, Anthony McCall, and his mother and father-in-law, Rebecca and Howard Wilkie. The family wishes to thank and recognize their close family friends, Tony and Becky Gant, of Pisgah Forest, son, Matthew, daughter, Brooke (fiancé, Ronnie), and grandson, Carter, for their love and support.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at the family's farm at 1260 Everett Road in Pisgah Forest Saturday, July 8, 2017, at 2 p.m., with a pig picking to follow.
