Roads Set To Be Resurfaced

Roughly 4.3 miles of road in Transylvania County are set to be resurfaced, according to the N.C. Department of Transportation (DOT).

The following is a breakdown of the work scheduled to begin some time in August and be completed by October of next year:

•2.02 miles of Jeter Mountain Road from Crab Creek Road to the Henderson County line, near Laura Brooke Drive.

•1.3 miles of Old Quebec Road from Kim Miller Road to Silverstein Road, just north of U.S. 64.

•All of Gaylors Branch Road (about 0.53 miles), starting from N.C. 215 near Living Waters Church.
