Matt Stack Brings New Look To Rosman Football - Rosman, NC

Matt Stack, pictured above on the steps of Silversteen Memorial Stadium, has big plans as he enters his first season as Rosman's new head football coach. After working his way up the coaching ladder over the past decade, Stack said he is ready to bring his style – an up-tempo offense combined with a swarming defense – to the Smoky Mountain Conference.

It might seem unusual to call a 33-year-old coach a football lifer, but Matt Stack has certainly paid his dues over the past 10 years, working up the ranks from position coach to coordinator to head man, and he's now ready to introduce a new era to the Rosman Tigers.

"I'm all about old school values and new school football," Stack said in a recent interview.

The values part of that statement applies to what Stack demands of his players, namely dedication, an exhaustive work ethic and adherence to discipline.
