What Makes A Nation Great?

The Merriam Webster dictionary defines, great as “having, characterized by, or arising from a dignified and generous nature.” The moral overtones of “greatness” are seen in words like “ennobled, exalted, glorified, heroic, honorable, valiant, worthy, inspiring, uplifting.”
