PARI To Give Second Solar Eclipse Presentation

PARI has scheduled another overview presentation of "the eclipse of a lifetime" that will cross the United States on Aug. 21. The path of totality, that 68-mile wide swath where the moon will totally block the sun's rays, will include part of Transylvania County. The Aug. 11 presentation at PARI will explain the astronomical reasons for the eclipse, provide details of the duration and how to view totality, plus provide important safety tips for viewing. Due to the heightened interest in the total solar eclipse that will cross over Transylvania County on Aug. 21, PARI has scheduled another overview of this "eclipse of a lifetime."
