DAR Members Usher In July With A Trip To Continental Congress In Washington

Eight members of the Waightstill Avery Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution met at 6 a.m. in Asheville to board a bus that would unload them and 43 others 13 hours later at their hotel in Washington, D.C.

Attending from Brevard were Regent Sharon Jenkins, Treasurer Charlene Nimer, Debby West, Brenda Monk, Past Regent Molly Tartt, Chaplain Peggy Bridges, Assistant State Treasurer Rosie Craig and Ruth Anderson.
