Labor Of Love Built At City Park - Brevard, NC

For a group of local carpenters, there is little doubt that donating a day's worth of their labor to build a second picnic pavilion at Franklin Park, will be cause for celebrations for years to come.

Though they may not get credit for their sacrifice each time a downpour threatens to dampen someone's special occasion, future party-goers will surely appreciate the additional shelter they have assembled.

That point played out in real-time right for the half dozen volunteers, who were busy in early May raising the frame of the timber-style shelter in an intermittent drizzle that kept trippin...
