Big Changes Eyed On Asheville Highway

The past few months, travelers along the Asheville Highway in Brevard will have noticed surveyors beside the road busy at work. Some of the work they are doing is part of a big picture project aimed at reducing congestion and improving safety from the Food Matters grocery store to the Caldwell/North Broad split. Currently, a grass median stops at the grocery store heading west, but plans to continue the median all the way to the Caldwell/North Broad split are in the design phase.
