'The Rainmaker' Heats Up The BLT Stage - Brevard, NC

The rainmaker, Bill Starbuck, played by Tate Albert, must convince Lizzie Curry, played by Matilyn Hull, that dreams can come true.

When a stranger comes to the Curry family's ranch in drought-riddled rural America in the summer of 1934 and claims he can bring relief in the form of rain, no one expects him to succeed. But, when he charms his way into favor with the Currys, new life begins to flourish.

N. Richard Nash's hit play, "The Rainmaker," turned acclaimed 1956 movie, sizzles with top-notch performances by the Brevard Little Theatre cast.
