Burlap & Lace opened the doors to its new location at 244 W. Main Street, Brevard last week with a celebration ribbon cutting and vintage tea party. What began as an offering of originally created pallet-board signs in a local downtown shop has grown into a dream come true for owner, Connie Caldwell, who now offers a constantly changing inventory of vintage style interior home décor, gifts and accessories.

Caldwell has found her niche in blending vintage treasures, architectural pieces and forgotten antiques with newly found items to create vignettes that spark interest and intrigue the senses with the overall elegant design. The appeal is that shoppers not only get a feel for how to create similar spaces within their home, office or gardens but also that they are enticed to explore their own creative interests when choosing home interiors and/or gifts for those special people in their lives.

Follow Burlap & Lace at, or visit the blog site at http://www.burlapandlace3.word Hours of operation are 10 a.m.-5:30 p.m., Thursday- Saturday. Burlap & Lace may be open other days and hours on occasion.
