County Monitoring Hurricane Irma, Provides Checklist

Transylvania County Emergency Management is collaborating with North Carolina State Emergency Management to monitor projections on the path of Hurricane Irma. While it is not yet known what path the storm will take once it makes landfall on mainland United States, there is potential that the region could see high winds and rain that would cause flooding and other impacts.

Citizens are asked to “Join the T.E.A.M” and remain mindful of communications coming from the Emergency Management team by signing up for voice, text or email alerts through the Transylvania Emergency Alert Messagi...
