Frances L. Robinson

Frances L. Robinson, of Brevard, left this life and entered eternal happiness, Sept 5, 2017, at the age of 71.

She was predeceased by her loving husband, William, in 2010.

She is survived by mother, Klonda Bell Lloyd; daughter, Cathina Baker; son-in-law, Mark Baker; son, William Robinson; daughter-in-law, Lila Carter; grandchildren, Tylin Robin-son, Mahayla Robinson, Cienah Robinson and partner, Jonathan Payton; as well as many other extended family members.

Born May 31, 1946, in Transylvania County, she was the only child of William and Klonda Lloyd. She was a graduate of Brevard High School and married William Robinson soon after.

She worked as a machine operator at Ecusta for many years, until the closing of the plant in 2002. She retired at the age of 62 from Transylvania Regional Hospital.

She will be remembered always as a friend, unconditional loving mother and the world’s greatest grandmother. Her greatest passion was helping family and loving her grandchildren. She leaves us rich with unforgettable memories.

A memorial service was held at 2 p.m. Sept. 9, 2017, at Bethel Baptist Church in Brevard, followed by a graveside service at Blue Ridge Gardens of Memory in Pisgah Forest.

Professional services were rendered by the Donald I. Roseboro Funeral and Cremation Service, of Flat Rock.
