Free Rein Center Gala Set For Oct. 14 At Connestee Falls

The Bold Gray Mares – Peg Hall on banjo, Carter Heyward on fiddle, Gerry Azzata on mandolin and Gerrie Kiley on bass – have been making music together for more than a decade.

Free Rein Center for Therapeutic Riding and Education will host its "Mane Event" fundraising gala from 6 to 10 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 14, at the Connestee Falls clubhouse.

"Trail Ride" is the theme for the evening, hosted by Free Rein's spokes-horses, Lois and Clark. There will be live and silent auctions, heavy appetizers, drinks and live music. Parents and friends of Free Rein will share their stories, and there will be a video tour of the new covered arena at Rockbrook Camp, where Free Rein offers its lessons.
