A Worse Bill

This latest attempt in the U.S. Senate effort to repeal and replace the Affordable Care Act (ACA), the Graham-Cassidy-Heller-Johnson (GCHJ) bill, has not only repeated nearly all the flaws of the previous repeal bills, but it has added some new ones.

Like the previous repeal efforts, this bill would substantially increase the number of uninsured Americans and increase costs for those with insurance, particularly the elderly, lower middle-class and women.

The American Medical Association said the bill “would result in millions of Americans losing their health insurance coverage.”
