Maryville Snaps Tornados' Win Streak At Three Games

The Brevard women's soccer team experienced their first setback since Sept. 13, as their three-game winning streak came to an end against Maryville 3-1.

A pair of second-half goals by Maryville proved to be the difference, after the score was tied at one at halftime.

The scoring began in the 35th minute as Sydney Alencewicz fired a strike from outside the box off an assist from Kassidy Hunsaker.

Two minutes later the Scots tied the game from a goal by Shannon Reagan, her first of two goals on the night.

In the second half, Reagan gave Maryville the lead as she found the back of the net...
