Judge Declines To Reduce Stroupe Senior's Bond

A short hearing occurred recently in the Henderson County Superior Court on Phillip Stroupe’s motion to have his bond reduced from the current amount of $500,000.

He is charged with accessory after the fact to first degree murder, a class C felony, and has been in custody since July 30.

His son, Phillip Michael Stroupe II, is currently charged with first degree murder, robbery with a dangerous weapon and kidnapping in the death of Hendersonville resident Thomas Bryson.
