Brevard Falters In Home Finale, Smoky Steals Win

It wasn't the game that most expected and it certainly wasn't the result the home fans were looking for.

On a night where the Brevard Blue Devils were able to slow down the high-flying passing game of Smoky Mountain, the Mustangs managed to come up with some timely big plays through the air and took advantage of a late Brevard turnover to steal a 28-21 win in a crucial Mountain Six conference game.

The first half didn't feature many highlights, but the game came alive over the final two quarters as the teams combined for 35 points.
