Proposed Federal Forests Act Sparks Debate

Concerns about the recently passed Resilient Federal Forests Act in the U.S. House have some of the key players in the ongoing Pisgah/Nantahala Plan Revision Process looking for alternatives. The measure passed the House 232 to 188 last week, and if it makes it past the Senate and President Trump signs it, the bill could have significant impacts on local public land.
