United Way 'Thermometers' Chart Fundraising

United Way of Transylvania County's (UWTC) campaign thermometers are in place.

An annual occurrence, 7-foot tall thermometers stand at the intersection of Caldwell and Broad streets in Brevard, at the intersection of U.S. 276, Elm Bend Road and Parkview Drive in Brevard, and on the Rosman Highway near Sav-Mor.

United Way volunteers and staff update the thermometers throughout the pledge campaign. Pledges may be made now for fulfillment during the 2018 calendar year. Individuals may also make 2017 year-end charitable gifts.

Currently, the thermometers stand at 30 percent of the $510,000...
