The 2017 fall Transylvania Youth Soccer Association (TYSA) season recently wrapped up with the Vipers winning a shootout to take the U10 League title. TYSA offers soccer opportunities for youth between the ages of 4 and 13. Registration for the spring league is now available and will feature, for the first time, all-female teams in the under-8 division.

Transylvania Youth Soccer Association's fall season came to an exciting close on the afternoon of Nov. 4, with coach Bradley Tom's U10 team, the Vipers, defeating coach Richard Coadwell's team 3-1 in a shootout following extra time.

Both teams' defenses proved extremely tough, and although there were several shots on goal, neither team was able to put the ball into the net after four quarters of play.

The game remained scoreless after a ten-minute overtime period, forcing the game to a shootout.

Following three shots on goal from the penalty mark by each team, the Vipers led 2-1.
