Schools Expand Reach Of AIG Programs - Brevard NC

Heidi Bullock told the Transylvania County Board of Education Monday night that the AIG (Academically and Intellectually Gifted) program is providing more options to students.

Bullock, who is the AIG specialist/coordinator for Transylvania County Schools, said that some AIG students at Brevard Middle School (BMS) are earning high school credits either through face-to-face instruction or through virtual classes. One AIG student from BMS is taking a math class at Brevard High School (BHS).

As a result of the AIG program, some BMS students are entering BHS with high school credits.
