Sharing House Diary: Christmas Gifts Needed For 800 Local Children

Did you know there are 800 Transylvania children who face Christmas morning without the presents that the rest of us take for granted? For them, it's likely to be just another cold winter day.

That's one of the (many) curses of poverty. There's just no money for extravagances like kids' Christmas presents. Or a Christmas tree. Every penny is already spoken for. Rent. Food. The car. And the unexpected expenses, like gym shoes for Junior or a prom dress for Sis, or school supplies, or broken bones.
