Mountain Bikers, Equestrians React To Fee Proposal

Mountain bikers and equestrians could soon be required to pay user fees to use the trails in Pisgah National Forest, according to Dave Casey, head ranger for the Pisgah Ranger district. The proposals were announced during the most recent Transylvania County Natural Resources meeting, but a timeline for the proposals has not been given.
