United Way Thermometers Reaches 40 Percent Of Goal

United Way of Transylvania County Board Member Scott Strickler adds the 40 percent block to the giant thermometer in front of Sav-Mor on the Rosman Highway. The signs lets the community keep track of its pledges to United Way for the 2018 calendar year.

United Way of Transylvania County's three iconic campaign thermometers are up to 40 percent of the 2018 campaign goal of $510,000. That leaves the local non-profit needing approximately $306,000 in pledges to meet its goal for funding local actions and services.

United Way urges donors to make their official pledges now for fulfillment during the 2018 calendar year.
