Price Tag Now On 'Legacy' Property

Josh Hallingse said that most meetings he attends he hears the same question: what is going on with the old Ecusta plant property?

Hallingse, the Transylvania Economic Alliance’s executive director, said it’s a “good question,” and now the Alliance has “a better answer.”

In the past few months, the property’s owner, the Massachusetts-based Renova Partners, has put a price tag — $15 million — on the roughly 540-acre property located behind the Lowe’s building that straddles both sides of Davidson River.
