Hot Shooting Leads Blue Devils Past Tigers 61-56

Jakari Thompson finished with 13 points, five rebounds, two assists and two steals. Thompson was one of four Blue Devils who scored in double digits.

Playing without their senior standout, Deland Thomas, the Rosman Tiger offense never found its rhythm this past Saturday as they fell to the Brevard Blue Devils 61-56 in the county's annual hardwood rivalry game.

On the other side, the Blue Devils got a ton of points from their guards, as Breylan Owens was one of four players to finish in double-digit scoring, leading the way with 18 points on the night.

The game started slow for both teams, as Rosman held a 3-2 lead after three minutes of play.
